Philoxenia (welcoming and taking care of strangers) is part of our Greek DNA and especially during these challenging times, your safety and health is our number one priority and our key mission to provide you a worry-free vacation.
The new established social distancing protocols imply the utmost protection for our valued guests so do not feel unwelcome if we do not greet you with a handshake or a hug. Our smile is still here for you under this mask and we are ready to offer you a unique experience.
In order to comply with Greek government's Covid-19 related Health & Safety hotel protocols and always with our guests best interest in mind, we have taken extra safety measures during the stay with us.
Please find below some of these measures:
Reception Safety
- All guests will be temperature screened upon arrival, as a precautionary measure
- Reception area will be disinfected frequently and will be provided with sanitizers
- Key cards decontamination before & after use
- Guest Only policy is applied. Entry for non-residents shall not be permitted
- Contactless payments are encouraged
In-room cleaning
- Elevated cleaning procedures and protocols in place including the use of disinfectants for wiping all high-touch surfaces (i.e. knobs and handles, remote controls, phones, hairdryer, toilet seat, etc.) and spray sterilizing each guest room prior to new guest arrival
- Check out time will be at 11 am and check in time 3 pm, in order to ensure proper ventilation of all our apartments
- Housekeeping service, change of lines and turn down service during the stay will be only upon request. Fresh towels are at our guest disposal 24/7 simply by calling or emailing our front desk office
- Property linen washed on a higher temperature and recommended detergents
Public Spaces
- Hand sanitizers have been placed at all areas for our guests and for the staff
- Frequent disinfection of all public areas and high touch spaces (such as door handles outdoor furniture etc.) during the day
Pool Area
- Our pool will operate according to all new and updated health procedures & protocols
- Sun Loungers by the swimming pool are complying with the government's social distancing measures and will be disinfected between the use of different guests
- Increased water quality controls
- Guests are required to follow the Pool instructions during use of the pool such as showering before entering, constant use of anti-slip flip flops and refrain from usage in case of skin conditions
Staff Hygiene
- Every staff member is using personal protection equipment (PPE) and has received expert Covid-19 training to follow rules and regulations allowed by local government institutions
- Every staff member undergo temperature screening each day before starting service and have been already vaccinated against Covid-19
Medical Support
- Our team members will proceed to all the necessary actions to bring you in contact with our hotel's dedicated doctor available 24/7 and Thassos Medical Center
All the above precautionary actions are taken to ensure our guests' peace of mind and personal safety. Our times require a high sense of personal responsibility and we feel now more responsible for your safety than ever.
